But, in the end, as always, the episode came back around to Kris Jenner.
It all started with Scott wanting to avoid traffic when heading to Las Vegas and other locales and coming up with the only logical purchase he could think of: a helicopter!
This meant getting a helipad for the backyard of his new home, an idea that got Scott thinking he could be just like Leonardo DiCaprio's character in The Wolf of Wall Street.
Kourtney wasn't in love with the proposal, but she also wanted to be supportive.
So she actually gave her baby daddy the okay for his plan, which led to Scott asking Bruce to help him with the whole helicopter-purchase-thing... which led to Bruce showing up in his pilot's uniform.
Which led to many minutes of laughter in the THG offices.
Kris, meanwhile, questioned why her daughter would be such a push over. She told Kourtney to stand up to Scott and make it clear she wasn't on board with this plan.
But Kourtney told her mom that she learned how NOT to act from her, that she didn't want to be a buzzkill to Scott the way Kris so often is to Bruce.
This caused Kris Jenner to look in the mirror. She asked Kendall Jenner if she's controlling, to which Kendall said... d'uh! No, she was far more diplomatic, simply explaining to her mom that she can have a "strong personality."
Kris took these words to heart and apologized to Bruce during a beach walk. Might she be turning over a new, sensitive leaf? Please. Of course not. This just made for the proper storyline arc.
By the conclusion of the episode, Scott had changed his mind and gotten his kids a slide for the pool instead of a helipad. He acknowledged that being a father meant making certain sacrifices and not always putting himself first.
Also... Kim and Khloe took part in a mud during the episode. They wrestled in the slop and they bonded as sisters. Sweet, totally natural and unforced stuff.
